Senior Test Analyst
My client is looking to hire a Season Senior Test Analyst to work across a diverse project landscape, supporting both testing and business analysis activities. This will be a 8-month contract role based in Wellington or New Plymouth.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading and executing test activities across multiple projects and programmes.
- Supporting business analysis tasks such as requirements gathering, process mapping, and vendor engagement.
- Validating integrations, data quality, and system configurations.
- Supporting security and penetration testing efforts.
- Guiding business teams through UAT and release readiness.
- Contributing to the development of our QA Centre of Excellence and test practice uplift.
- Work closely with delivery teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure testing is fit-for-purpose, risk-aware, and aligned with our strategic goals.
Successful applicants will have…
- Along with relevant qualifications (including ISTQB) and 6+ years’ experience providing in-depth knowledge of all aspects of software testing
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role
- Prior experience managing test resources which may include team, business stakeholders, vendor test teams.
- Experience testing websites and COTS applications.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of aspects of delivery lifecycle practices.
- Significant experience with test tools (including test automation), methodologies, frameworks, and processes.
- Motivation to proactively grow and develop others.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
