Technical Senior Business Analyst
Our client is looking to hire a Technical Senior Business Analyst for a large programme of work and be responsible for operating at a detailed design level and bridging business needs with technical implementation. This will be a 6-month contract role based in Wellington.
Successful candidates will have…
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst on complex digital or technology‑enabled programmes
- Strong hands‑on experience with non‑functional requirements at a detailed technical level
- Experience working alongside architects and engineering teams on solution design
- Ability to write clear, structured, and testable technical requirements
- Experience working in large, multi‑stakeholder environments
Desirable but not essential
- Prior hands‑on testing experience is not required, but the role requires the ability to analyse, validate, and support assurance of non‑functional requirements through design and delivery
- Experience with asset management, hardware‑enabled solutions, or operational technology environments
- Payment systems, transport, or large public sector programmes
- Experience working with vendors and system integrators
- Familiarity with systems integration, APIs, or platform‑based solutions
