Technical Delivery Lead - Permanent Role
Our client is looking at hiring a Technical Delivery Lead to provide end to end technical coordination and delivery across key platforms and products to meet agreed delivery timelines. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams and is accountable for the technical coordination and planning of all components of products or platforms including infrastructure, security, performance, testing, development, data and significant issue resolution. This role will be based in Wellington.
Successful applicants will have…
- Proven experience in technical delivery roles within complex IT environments (minimum three years)
- Experience in leading Programme Increment Planning
- Experience in leading technical delivery through Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and traditional delivery methodologies
- Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party deliverables
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements relevant to NZ government
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and testing practices
- Experience with delivery metrics, KPIs, and performance measurement
- Understanding of modern development practices and continuous delivery
- Understanding of cloud technologies advantageous
- Understanding of the machinery of government and public sector
