We are seeking a capable and proactive Coordinator for a six-month fixed-term contract. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a kaupapa Māori organisation to provide high-quality support across a range of administrative functions.
This position is well suited to someone who brings strong organisational skills, a professional approach, and a genuine respect for Te Ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and will be part of a team that values collaboration, manaakitanga, and cultural integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating travel and accommodation bookings
- Supporting the planning and delivery of events and hui
- Minute-taking and preparation of meeting documentation
- Providing general administrative support to the SLT team
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in administration or coordination roles
- Demonstrates initiative, attention to detail, and sound judgment
- Is adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities with ease
- Is confident working in a kaupapa Māori environment, brings knowledge of tikanga and Te Reo Māori, or a strong willingness to learn.
