About the Role:
This full-time, permanent position is available immediately. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance and management of buildings, equipment, and facilities. The role involves overseeing daily operations, with a strong focus on health and safety.
This position is essential to the smooth running of our facilities, ensuring all aspects of facility upkeep are handled efficiently and in line with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance Coordination: Support the development and execution of a preventative maintenance program across all buildings to ensure ongoing safety and upkeep.
Issue Resolution & Contractor Coordination: Facilitate prompt responses to property-related issues, coordinating with contractors as needed to ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time and within the scope of authority.
Building Warrant of Fitness Support: Assist in maintaining the Building Warrant of Fitness by keeping maintenance records updated and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Equipment Maintenance Coordination: Oversee the scheduling of regular equipment servicing and address any maintenance needs that arise in a timely manner.
Health & Safety Support: Help manage property-related health and safety concerns and provide relevant information for Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
Long-term Maintenance Planning: Assist in the development and upkeep of a long-term maintenance and equipment replacement plan.
Fire Safety Liaison: Work with Fire Compliance teams to support evacuation procedures and ensure accurate reporting.
Project Assistance: Provide coordination and support for property-related projects as required.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as needed to support business needs and ensure smooth operations.
What We're Looking For:
We’re looking for a candidate with relevant experience in coordinating facilities and maintenance activities. Experience in similar environments is a plus. The ideal person will have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and operational standards. Experience in coordinating with external service providers and a good knowledge of safety protocols will be highly regarded.
