About the role
Provide expert-level contingency support for a critical relational database management system running on IBM z/OS mainframes. You will operate as a trusted advisor and resource to mitigate risk, rather than handling day-to-day delivery tasks.
- Manage and tune CA Datacom/DB systems.
- Troubleshoot complex performance issues during critical incidents.
- Execute mainframe database migrations.
- Guide legacy banking estate resolutions.
Skills & Experience
- Expertise in Datacom database administration.
- Knowledge of Datacom architecture and internals.
- Proven mainframe database migration experience.
- Understanding of PL/I and Datacom interactions.
- Background supporting legacy banking environments.
