This is a central, high-visibility role covering both front-of-house reception duties and accounts administration. You will be the primary point of contact for all incoming communication, ensuring the smooth flow of information and maintaining our strong debtor ledger.
Key Responsibilities (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm):
- Managing and answering all incoming calls and efficiently fielding queries
- Perform core Accounts Receivable duties, including data entry of transactions and proactively chasing debtors.
- Answer customer telephone queries regarding their accounts and payments.
- Provide professional customer service, communicating effectively with customers regarding chemical product orders and deliveries.
- Assist office staff with administrative tasks, including sending documents to customers and following up on deliveries.
- Handle general administration, such as opening and distributing mail, booking couriers, organising and checking lunch invoicing, and filing.
- Provide relief for other administrative staff, specifically assisting with order entry when required.
- Ensure all administrative duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- Previous, demonstrable experience in a similar corporate reception/customer service and accounts-focused position.
- Specific, practical experience with Accounts Receivable data entry and debtor chasing/credit control.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous phone manner.
- Strong numerical literacy and proficient working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- MUST be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident with a strong, proven attendance record.
- A current, clean driver's license and own reliable transport.
- Ideally, you will be local to the Wiri area or surrounding suburbs.
