On behalf of a prominent government organization, we are seeking an organized and proactive People & Culture Coordinator to join their team. This fast-paced contract role is heavily focused on providing critical operational support to clear an administrative backlog while assisting with day-to-day generalist P&C activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesBacklog Clearance: Audit, update, and organize employee files, training records, and compliance data within the HRIS.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare contracts, process pre-employment checks (vetting), and coordinate induction schedules.
Recruitment Support: Schedule interviews and manage candidate correspondence.
General Administration: Act as the first point of contact for routine internal queries regarding policies and leave.
Proven experience in a P&C / HR Coordinator or team admin role (public sector experience is a plus).
Strong HRIS proficiency and excellent attention to detail for high-volume data cleansing.
Ability to work onsite 4 days a week with 1 day of remote flexibility.
Strong communication skills and a high level of discretion.
