About the Role
Are you a skilled procurement professional looking for your next challenge in the public sector? We are seeking an agile and experienced Procurement Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in the heart of Wellington CBD.
In this role, you will hit the ground running to support key procurement activities, ensuring robust process management and high-quality commercial outcomes. You will work within a supportive, collaborative environment that truly values its people.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end procurement advice and support across various projects.
Assist with sourcing activities, evaluations, and contract drafting.
Ensure compliance with government procurement principles and internal policies.
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience as a Procurement Advisor or in a similar commercial/sourcing role.
A solid understanding of procurement processes (public sector experience is a major plus).
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
