Our client, a true innovator and leader in the plumbing and bathroom sector, is on the hunt for a highly motivated and skilled Project Coordinator to enrich their vibrant Hamilton team. This isn't just a job; it's an exceptional opportunity to be at the heart of impactful projects, cultivate your career, and thrive within an environment that champions support and innovation.
... Join a business that's not just growing, but evolving strategically and sustainably. You'll become an integral part of a small, yet incredibly close-knit team, united by a profound commitment to delivering an unparalleled product experience and relentlessly pursuing continued success.
Your Impact in This Role
As a Project Coordinator, you will be the linchpin connecting our clients with seamless project execution. Your daily responsibilities will involve:
- Client Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with customers, you'll be instrumental in providing accurate and competitive quotes and tenders.
- Supply Chain Orchestration: Expertly coordinating the ordering and punctual delivery of both "behind the wall" and "in front of the wall" plumbing supplies directly to construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate Customer Relationships: Forge robust, lasting relationships with clients, consistently prioritising their satisfaction and ensuring a positive experience.
- Strategic Pricing & Profitability: Take ownership of managing pricing strategies and optimising profit margins across all quotes and tenders.
- Timely Proposal Delivery: Prepare and deliver comprehensive quotes and tenders with efficiency and precision, meeting critical deadlines.
- End-to-End Supply Coordination: Oversee the entire supply chain process, from initial order placement to final delivery, for both "behind the wall" and "in front of the wall" requirements.
- Quality Assurance & Project Sign-Off: Conduct thorough quality assurance checks and secure final sign-offs, ensuring projects meet the highest standards.
What You'll Bring to The Team:
We're looking for an individual who is not only skilled but also embodies our core values:
- Financial Acumen: A solid understanding of pricing structures and profit margin management.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience within the building and construction sector, ideally with exposure to plumbing or related trades.
- Organisational Prowess: Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, coupled with superior time management abilities to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A genuine "customer-first" mindset, always striving to exceed expectations and build strong rapport.
- Team Player & Positive Contributor: A collaborative spirit, a good sense of humor (a bit of banter is always welcome!), and a genuine desire to contribute positively to a supportive team environment.
