Project Manager - Fixed-Term role
Our client is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects that support business and technical outcomes across the organization. It would range from getting business groups ready for the change through to design, development and delivery of the organisation's core systems. This will be a Fixed-Term role till June 2027 and based in Wellington.
Responsibilities include:
- Defining and managing project scope, objectives, success measures and milestones, bringing structure and clarity to a complex set of projects
- Developing and maintaining timelines, budgets, risks and resources to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve their intended benefits.
- Coordinating engagement with multiple internal stakeholder groups from requirements gathering to implementation
- Ensuring appropriate reporting is in place for projects and feeds into programme and governance documentation
- Managing relationships with internal and external partners and vendors to ensure there are robust planning and delivery processes in place
Successful candidates will have...
- Experience in the Payments space, Business Case writing and building a team.
- Have experience delivering complex business, technology, or transformation projects within a structured project management environment.
- Bring strong project planning, governance, financial management, and risk management capability.
- Have experience working across both business and technical stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
- Are skilled at managing competing priorities, dependencies, and project delivery challenges.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
- Bring strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and a proactive approach to delivery.
