The Role Overview
We are seeking a Systems Architect with a strong Data background to join a high-performing technical team. This is a "hard" architecture role focused on system structures and high-level designs rather than reporting or data modeling. Role Details:
- Term: Initial contract to 30 June 2026 (Strong extension potential)
- Working Model: Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
- Start Date: ASAP Start
About the Role
- Guide: Provide expert architecture guidance to Product Owners and Engineers on complex technical system questions.
- Design: Update and develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and technical architecture documentation.
- Mentor: Support engineers in developing their technical design skills and architectural logic.
- Align: Collaborate with the Principal Architect to ensure all system designs are consistent with the enterprise technology landscape.
- Deliver: Drive architectural outcomes that focus on system performance, integration, and scalability.
Skills & Experience Required
- Systems Architect: Proven experience in high-level system design and technical architecture.
- Data Background: Deep technical understanding of data systems and infrastructure (without being a modeling/reporting specialist).
- Technical Design: Expert at developing high-level design artifacts and architectural blueprints.
- Collaboration: Ability to provide technical direction to Product Owners and Engineering squads.
- Enterprise Focus: Experience ensuring individual system designs fit within a broader, complex technical environment.
