Join a leading e-commerce enterprise as a Contract UX Writer to design and implement content that guides users through critical digital experiences. We are seeking a highly specialized content contributor who is proficient in microcopy, content governance for design systems, and defining language within multidisciplinary product teams. Key Responsibilities & FocusThe successful candidate will be a hands-on Content Designer, responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the core textual architecture of digital products.
- Microcopy Specialization: Focus on small, critical text elements like link text, button labels, alerts, prompts, and error messaging to improve usability and clarity.
- User Journey Content: Craft clear and effective copy for web and app onboarding tutorials, and strategically support the core e-commerce shopping journey.
- Content Governance & CMS: Develop interface copy for the Content Management System (Contentful), and contribute to content guidelines, models, and documentation for the design system.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work extensively within product squads (PM, BA, Devs, Designers), actively collaborating with designers in Figma and ensuring content is integrated into the design-to-development process.
- Accessibility First: Ensure all created content adheres to strict accessibility standards and guidelines, leveraging deep knowledge of WCAG principles.
- UX Writing Proficiency: Strong, proven proficiency in UX Writing and Content Design (avoiding a primary background in brand or marketing copywriting).
- Microcopy/Product Focus: Commercial experience with high-stakes, navigational microcopy and the ability to articulate product logic through clear language.
- E-commerce Experience: Commercial experience supporting high-volume e-commerce websites or complex transactional digital platforms.
- Content System Skills: Demonstrable experience working with CMS platforms (ideally Contentful) and contributing to content documentation for Design Systems.
- Tools & Collaboration: Solid understanding of Figma for design collaboration and comfort working with the Google Suite, Miro, and Confluence.
- Beneficial Skills: Experience crafting app store listing content and a strong, proven background in establishing accessibility guidelines for content.
