Senior Business Analyst - Contract
The Opportunity
An exciting contract role is available for an experienced Business Analyst with a process focus to join a leading telecommunications provider. This position is vital in shaping the digital customer experience across core platforms. You will be instrumental in the Discovery Phase and requirements gathering for high-impact projects.
This role requires a commitment of 4 days per week on-site in Auckland.
Key Responsibilities
You will work across two cooperative, agile squads within the Customer Experience domain (website, apps, and customer technology). Your core duties will include:
- Gathering requirements and leading the Discovery Phase for new digital features and journeys.
- Business process and journey mapping, with a key focus on the self-service journey for a new mobile application.
- Working closely with Digital Solutions Architects to write comprehensive business requirements documentation.
- Acting as a crucial link between business stakeholders and technical teams, collaborating daily with UX/UI designers, developers, testers & a solutions architect.
- Focusing on key project areas such as identity management within the digital space and enhancing the onboarding experience for digital customers.
- Assisting with the roll-out of operational changes across the business.
About You: Skills and Experience
We are seeking a competent and adaptable professional with:
- Exceptional communication skills and the proven ability to build rapport and manage stakeholders across multiple squads.
- The ability to context-switch quickly and effectively between different projects and priorities.
- A strong preference for prior experience as a Digital Business Analyst.
- Expertise in Process / Journey Mapping and translating business needs into clear, structured documentation.
