Your goal is to forge lasting, high-level partnerships and cement our client's position as the undisputed market leader.
Your Impact Zone (Key Responsibilities):
Strategic Growth: Proactively hunt, target, and convert significant new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline that fuels our client's strategic vision and revenue goals.
Solution Architecture: Collaborate with internal experts across Operations, Finance, and Solutions to design innovative, commercially sound supply chain solutions that solve complex client challenges.
Commercial Leadership: Command the sales process from discovery to close. Lead the creation of compelling proposals, tenders, and presentations, and skillfully negotiate profitable, long-term commercial agreements.
Relationship Mastery: Cultivate deep, trusted relationships with senior executives and decision-makers, positioning our client as the essential strategic partner for their supply chain needs.
Market Intelligence: Act as the voice of the market internally. Provide critical insights on industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging customer needs to shape strategy and drive continuous innovation.
What You Bring to the Table:
Essential DNA:
A proven track record of success in a senior business development role within 3PL, Contract Logistics, or a complex supply chain environment.
Sharp commercial acumen, with a history of not just meeting, but exceeding revenue targets.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills; you can command a room and build consensus.
Demonstrated expertise in leading complex negotiations and closing substantial, multi-year contracts.
A results-driven, growth-oriented mindset—you are a strategic thinker who translates vision into action.
Preferred Strengths:
Deep knowledge of eCommerce fulfilment, national transport networks, or international freight.
An established professional network within key sectors like retail, FMCG, or manufacturing.
