Position Highlights:
- Role Type: Fixed-Term Contract (through to 31 January 2027, with potential to transition into permanent roles)
- Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week across five 6-hour shifts)
- Roster: Flexible roster between 7:00 am and 10:30 pm, Monday to Sunday
- Location: Christchurch-based
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serving as the warm, welcoming first point of contact for incoming calls from our diverse community.
- Listening carefully, identifying needs, and ensuring callers receive timely, appropriate support.
- Accurately logging call information with strong attention to detail.
- Responding to every call with genuine empathy and understanding.
- Delivering top-notch service that makes a real difference to everyone you speak with.
Who We're Looking For: You don't necessarily need call centre experience—we welcome backgrounds of all kinds! Most importantly, you are:
- Naturally empathetic, resilient, and an active listener.
- Calm and collected under pressure, capable of handling challenging situations with grace.
- A clear, kind communicator in both spoken and written interactions.
- Flexible and available to work 6-hour rostered shifts across the 7:00 am – 10:30 pm window, 7 days a week.
