A Critical Note on Tech Stack: The core data practice is heavily invested in Snowflake, this specific position requires strong, proven expertise within the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Data Management: Specialise in managing and optimising data lakes and warehouses, leveraging core Azure services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse Analytics / Fabrics, SQL Database, Blob Storage).
ETL/ELT Pipeline Mastery: Design, deploy, and fine-tune robust ETL/ELT workflows to ensure seamless data integration from various sources into cloud-native platforms.
Data Architecture & Modeling: Architect and maintain secure, high-performance, and scalable SQL/NoSQL database systems.
Client Consulting & Delivery: Work with the wider team to translate complex technical requirements into production-ready solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Data Scientists, Solution Architects, & Project Managers to drive successful, data-driven outcomes.

What You Will Bring

Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, specifically in building resilient data pipelines.
Technical Expertise (Must-Haves):

Excellent proficiency in Python and SQL.
Proven, hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse.

Technical Expertise (Highly Valued):

Experience utilising dbt for advanced data transformation.
Snowflake
