The Role
As a Domain Architect – End User focussed you will be responsible for leading the architectural direction, strategy, and roadmap for our end-user technology workspace on an immediate 4-month contract. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring our systems deliver maximum value and support a seamless digital workplace. This includes:
- Shaping, optimizing, and driving the organisation's overarching end-user technology strategy and End User Computing (EUC) environments.
- Translating complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and architectural designs across the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Collaborating closely with IT service delivery and business stakeholders to optimize Service Management frameworks and capabilities.
- Providing expert architectural guidance and technical leadership for ServiceNow alignment, integration, and platform optimization.
- Producing high-quality architectural blueprints, roadmap documentation, and high/low-level designs to ensure successful transition to operations.
Key Requirements
- EUC & Microsoft Expertise: Proven experience working as a Domain or Enterprise Architect with deep technical knowledge across Microsoft technologies, modern desktop management, and EUC environments.
- Service Management & ServiceNow: Demonstrated experience aligning IT service delivery with architectural strategies, with specific expertise in ServiceNow architecture and implementation.
- Core Architect Toolkit: High level of skill in developing architectural blueprints, technology roadmaps, and translating complex technical concepts for senior non-technical stakeholders.
- Government Experience: Prior experience navigating complex, enterprise-level architectures within large government or public sector organisations is highly desirable.
- Availability: Must be available for an immediate or near-immediate start to support this initial 4-month contract.
