The Opportunity
Are you a strategic HR professional who thrives on transformation and organisational evolution? We are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a leading insurance provider in Christchurch.
This is a pivotal contract role covering a period of parental leave. You won’t just be "keeping the seat warm"—you will be driving key initiatives across organisational design and culture during a period of meaningful change.
Key Focus Areas
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leveraging your expertise to influence the following areas:
Organisational Design & Restructure: Leading end-to-end design processes to ensure the business remains agile and fit-for-purpose.
Culture & Engagement: Managing culture surveys and translating data into actionable strategies that enhance the employee experience.
Process Improvement: Identifying bottlenecks in HR delivery and implementing streamlined, efficient workflows.
Strategic Advisory: Providing high-level coaching to managers on complex employee relations and performance management.
About You
To hit the ground running, you will bring:
Proven HRBP Experience: Ideally within the insurance or financial services sector (though complex corporate backgrounds are welcome).
Transformation Toolkit: Hands-on experience in organisational design.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using culture surveys and people data to drive decision-making.
Communication Style: A natural ability to build rapport quickly and navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and professional candor.
