Lead Automation Tester (Banking)
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Contract Term: 6 - 12 Months (Immediate Start)
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Lead / Senior Automation Specialist - to join a high-velocity Banking environment. This role is pivotal, covering two squads with a mandate to elevate the automation strategy and safeguard the reliability of mission-critical financial applications.
Key Accountabilities
- Automation Leadership (Lead Role): Drive the definition and implementation of robust automation frameworks across multiple teams to significantly accelerate delivery speed.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough and rigorous testing across core banking systems, ensuring uncompromising adherence to both functional specifications and strict financial compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with development teams and broader stakeholders, leveraging excellent interpersonal skills to navigate and succeed within a complex corporate structure.
Required Profile
- Core Technical Skills: Essential hands-on proficiency with C\# and Playwright.
- Industry Experience: Mandatory prior experience within the Banking sector.
- Leadership Track Record (Lead Role): Demonstrated success in overseeing and managing automation initiatives across various parallel workstreams.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are crucial for both positions.
