About the Opportunity
Join an established data consulting business as a Platform Engineer, where you will be instrumental in supporting and evolving the foundational infrastructure that drives large-scale data intelligence. This is a permanent opportunity for a technical leader looking to transition from purely maintenance roles into high-level creation and design.
You will be the vital link between architectural vision and hands-on technical execution, responsible for designing and deploying high-performance infrastructure components (such as Data Factory, Key Vault, and Private DNS) essential for complex data ecosystems to thrive.
Technical Expertise Required
We are seeking a Platform Engineer with strong hybrid cloud experience (AWS/Azure), capable of navigating complex networking and automation challenges with ease.
... - IaC Mastery: Proven experience with Terraform & Bicep to build modular, reusable environments.
- Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for scaling and managing containerized workloads.
- Cloud Hybridity: Proficiency in Azure (including VNets, VPN Gateways, Private Endpoints) coupled with practical AWS experience.
- DevOps Excellence: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain seamless CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

- Design Ownership: A proactive approach to contributing to high-level designs and taking full ownership of Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.

- Financial Governance: An understanding of cloud financial management, including monitoring and optimizing Azure cost management for long-term sustainability.
