We are seeking a QA Tester for a 6-month contract based in Auckland, with hybrid work flexibility. Join a high-performing Agile delivery team working on enterprise-grade data integration solutions.
In this role, you will:
Validate data flows between Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and Salesforce.
Design, build, and execute automated and manual test cases for data pipelines and APIs.
Write and optimize SQL queries to verify data accuracy and transformations.
Develop lightweight test scripts using Python to support data and integration testing.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure robust test coverage.
Support integration of test suites into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to QA best practices in a data-driven environment.
Key Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in QA testing for data pipelines and backend systems.
Hands-on expertise with Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
Familiarity with API testing tools and integration validation processes.
Experience working in Agile teams with strong knowledge of data workflow testing.
Exposure to CI/CD practices and cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
