Our client is a dominant force in the New Zealand plumbing sector & they are looking for a high-energy Sales Representative to take ownership of their South Canterbury territory. This isn't a desk job—you’ll be the face of the brand across South Canterbury building the relationships that keep the industry moving.
The Role
Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your mission is to blend strategic business development with gold-standard account management.
... Expand the Footprint: Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region.
Strengthen Partnerships: Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular face-to-face visits and expert product advice.
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to exceed targets and increase market share.
Territory Management: Efficiently manage your schedule to provide consistent coverage across South Canterbury.
What You’ll Bring
Sales Pedigree: A proven track record in B2B sales (industry experience in plumbing or construction is a major plus).
The Travel Mindset: You enjoy being on the move. Daily travel to South Canterbury and surrounding regions is a core part of this role.
Communication Mastery: The ability to talk shop with tradespeople and negotiate with business owners.
Self-Motivation: You are disciplined, organised, and capable of working independently without being micro-managed.
Licensing: A valid, clean NZ driver’s license is essential.
