Senior Product Manager (Loyalty & Banking) – Auckland CBD
The Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join a world-leading payments technology consultancy in a high-impact, embedded role with one of New Zealand’s largest banks. You will take full ownership of a major loyalty program, leading the strategy, execution, and governance to drive measurable commercial value. This is a 24-month fixed-term contract based in Auckland CBD, offering the chance to innovate within a premier global payments network.

About the Role
- Strategise: Lead the loyalty program roadmap, ensuring daily operations align with KPIs and long-term success metrics.
- Optimise: Use customer data to identify behavioural trends and translate insights into targeted offers, journeys, and improved ROI.
- Govern: Lead critical governance forums (Steering, Risk, WIP) to drive transparency and decision-making across stakeholders.
- Execute: Maintain operational rhythms, managing backlog prioritisation, change control, and compliance to keep delivery on track.
- Partner: Support the merchant pipeline, identifying leads and collaborating on sales materials and negotiation support.
Skills & Experience Required
- Product Seniority: Robust experience in Program or Product Management.
- Banking Expert: Strong understanding of retail products, cards, scheme networks, and financial services environments.
- Loyalty Specialist: Deep understanding of loyalty levers, customer engagement, and personalisation strategies.
- Data-Driven: Comfortable working with data teams to analyse performance, customer uptake, and ROI to drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Master: Exceptional skills in influencing, aligning, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
