Program Test Manager - Contract (Auckland, NZ - Hybrid)
A leading corporate client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Manager for a high-impact, 6-month contract with a strong potential for extension. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and governing the quality assurance strategy across multiple agile delivery teams, with a significant focus on driving automation adoption, providing technical mentorship, and ensuring robust quality governance.
ROLE DETAILS
- Position: Program Test Manager
- Core Focus: Defining the long-term QA strategy, governing its implementation across multiple delivery streams, and ensuring alignment with major business outcomes.
- Industry Expertise: Essential experience managing QA/Testing for large-scale, enterprise-level programs (e.g., core systems transformation, major digital platform rollouts).
- Technical Stack: Requires senior-level knowledge of automation ecosystems, modern CI/CD workflows, and the ability to articulate technical strategy to both executive and engineering audiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute the Test Program Strategy and roadmap across all project lifecycles.
- Own and govern the adoption of automation and quality metrics (KPIs) across all impacted teams.
- Manage program-level testing risks and dependencies, escalating critical issues to program leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality processes, tooling, and governance structures.
