The Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a major public-sector entity in a high-impact, permanent role. You will be at the forefront of evolving their Enterprise Data Management strategy, co-designing and maintaining the critical data assets and integration pipelines that drive organizational value. This is a chance to work on scalable analytics and real-time data platforms within a large-scale, public-facing environment.

About the Role
- Build: Co-design, develop, and maintain enterprise data systems and integration pipelines to unlock data value.
- Streamline: Analyze raw data and automate data compliance to ensure high-quality system integrity.
- Scale: Enhance data pipeline throughput for scalable analytics and modern real-time data platforms.
- Collaborate: Partner closely with data architects and analysts to drive meaningful digital transformation initiatives.
- Innovate: Lead strategic data initiatives that support the growth of the organization’s data ecosystem.
Skills & Experience Required
- Technical Mastery: Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL (preferred), with experience in Java for data manipulation.
- Cloud Expert: Strong working experience with Public Cloud Platforms, specifically Azure (Azure Data Factory, Synapse/Fabrics, Delta Lake, or Databricks).
- Architecture Knowledge: Deep understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lake concepts, and advanced data modeling techniques.
- NoSQL Exposure: Familiarity with platforms such as MongoDB, Hadoop, or Cassandra is a significant advantage.
- Seniority: Proven experience in a Data Engineer or similar high-level technical role.
