Our client is a well-established organisation currently experiencing a high-volume period of growth and operational activity. They are looking for an experienced, adaptable HR Advisor to join their small, dedicated team and hit the ground running to support their daily operations.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the HR Lead and overseeing the output of two HR Coordinators, you will play a pivotal role in keeping the operational HR function running smoothly. This role requires a balance of high-level administrative mastery and operational HR knowledge to ensure accurate, compliant workforce documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation & Compliance: Oversee and execute the preparation of Letters of Offer, contract variations, and critical employment documentation.
Quality Assurance: Review and vet the work of HR Coordinators to ensure absolute data integrity and compliance.
Data & Systems Management: Lead high-volume mail merges, manage electronic archiving, and ensure organizational structures and HR systems are accurately updated.
SharePoint Administration: Manage access, permissions, and document control within SharePoint.
Stakeholder Coordination: Manage escalated, general HR queries and serve as the key conduit to the Payroll department for all operational and contractual updates.
Project Delivery: Support the HR Lead with ad-hoc HR projects as required.
About You
You are a methodical, system-savvy HR Advisor who loves data integrity and operational excellence. You thrive in fast-paced environments, possess a steady hand during peak periods, and can work autonomously with minimal oversight.
Requirements:
Technical Mastery: Advanced MS Word skills (absolute proficiency with mail merges is essential) and at least intermediate MS Excel skills.
Systems Capability: Proven experience managing data, access, and permissions within SharePoint.
HR Advisory Experience: Strong understanding of general HR practices, contract variations, and onboarding workflows.
Leadership & QA Skills: Experience reviewing the work of junior team members or coordinators to ensure accuracy.
Attributes: Exceptionally organized, methodical, discrete, and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
