About the Role
We are seeking a Project Administrator to support the Programme Management Office (PMO) of a major government agency leading a high-profile, system-wide educational transformation. This programme is deeply committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations and delivering equitable outcomes.
You will provide crucial day-to-day administrative assistance to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting & Event Logistics: Coordinate workshops, room bookings, tech setups, and materials.
Secretariat Support: Prepare agendas, distribute meeting packs, and record accurate minutes and action items.
Financial & Travel Admin: Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests; coordinate travel itineraries in compliance with policy.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in a project administration or PMO support role.
Strong minute-taking, documentation management, and organisational skills.
Experience handling public sector financial processing (invoices/POs) and travel bookings.
Proficiency with MS Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.
A foundational understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and working in partnership with Māori.
