Senior Functional Tester (Complex Scenarios & API)
The Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Functional Tester to join a fast-paced enterprise project for an initial 6-month contract. This role is for a testing professional who excels at designing complex test cases and navigating intricate API structures. You will play a consultative role, providing leadership and ensuring the highest quality standards for a cloud-based SaaS environment.
Role Details:
- Term: 6 Months (Chance of extension)
- Working Model: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
- Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
- Design: Create and execute highly complex test scenarios and detailed test cases.
- Validate: Perform deep-dive Restful and SOAP API testing to ensure system integrity.
- Lead: Act as a functional lead, mentoring others and driving quality best practices.
- Framework Alignment: Work within BDD-driven environments to ensure functional requirements are met.
- Analyze: Identify risks and defects within enterprise SaaS applications, providing clear documentation and leadership on resolution.
Skills & Experience Required
- Functional Seniority: Extensive experience designing complex test scenarios in enterprise environments.
- API Proficiency: Hands-on experience with both Restful and SOAP API testing tools.
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of BDD frameworks and how functional testing integrates with automation.
- Leadership: Proven capability in mentoring team members and taking ownership of test delivery.
- Cloud Focus: Experience with cloud-based SaaS applications is highly advantageous.
