The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting a critical, enterprise-wide Workday implementation project. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the project delivers exceptional value. This includes:
- Collaborating with HR, payroll, and technical stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business and technical requirements.
- Leading As-Is and To-Be process mapping, analysing current systems and workflows to design optimized future-state solutions.
- Supporting Workday configuration by translating business requirements into precise functional specifications and solutions.
- Working intimately with payroll teams to ensure a successful, seamless integration between Workday and Datapay.
- Coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing issue resolution, and guiding deployment/cutover activities.
- Producing high-quality business process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to support change management and transition to BAU.
Key Requirements
- Workday Expertise: Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on explicit Workday implementation projects, with a strong understanding of Workday HR and payroll-related business processes.
- Integration Experience: Demonstrated experience with Datapay integration or major payroll system implementations (experience in workforce management, time & attendance, or broader ERP integrations is highly desirable).
- Core BA Toolkit: High level of skill in business process mapping (BPMN), requirements elicitation, and structured stakeholder management across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Technology teams.
- Testing & Delivery: Solid experience coordinating UAT, managing deployment activities, and supporting business readiness and adoption.
- Documentation & Tools: Proficiency in delivering clear technical/business documentation, with experience using standard requirements and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar software).
