      WorkSafe New Zealand is now hiring full time permanent Health and Safety Inspectors to work as investigators in the North Island. WorkSafe is the Government’s health and safety regulator charged with leading the biggest shakeup of health and safety in a generation. We’re seeking people who are truly passionate about changing the way all Kiwis’ view health and safety and making sure the injury and fatality rates reduce. You start as a trainee and progress your way through a series of in-house training courses, on the job experience and coaching until you obtain a Certificate of Appointment giving you powers as an Inspector. Your training doesn't stop there as you continue to build your skills and knowledge to become a highly competent investigator and regulator. As a Health and Safety Inspector for the Specialist Interventions (Investigations) team you will bring a high level of integrity, excellent judgement, and decision-making skills.
