      We currently have a Senior Project Accounting opportunity within a complex Government organisation based in Wellington CBD on a 12 Month hourly rate contract. This role will give you the opportunity to provide financial management of a large programme of work, prepare monthly reporting for senior stakeholders, monitor and track expenditure while assisting with the 2022 budget. You will have a strong background in managing project financials, working with senior leadership, engaging with and building relationships throughout an organisation and within the internal project team. Key Responsibilities: Manage and assist with the budget planning process and work with internal resources to demonstrate costs of services and strategy, while identifying risks and opportunities.Provide appropriate and reliable analysis while communicating financial and business recommendations in relation to new initiatives, budget development and proposals. Engage in the development and implementation within systems and processes, with a view to meet requirements of the financial planning, reporting and budgeting processes alongside finance. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with relevant internal and external teams across the project and organisation, enabling a collaborative approach to drive strategy, planning and reporting related advice. Enable the delivery of timely and accurate information alongside business support to aid financial and operational decision-making.
